Millions of thanks to Gairika who made me believe that I can transform my dance style at a late age and taught with extreme patience (whilst I would find any chance to be disobedient or skip classes and practice). Also, there is always a feeling and bond of "we" and "us" in the dance group, albeit few of us meet only once or twice in a year with everyone for performances, being far apart.

Being here at the Odissi Concert organised by Nritya Alaap is amazing. Seeing all the performers wearing this beautiful costume and the way they performed in front of all the audience shows how much confidence they have and how much great training they have been given by Gairika just shows our trust and values in our children and heritage is something that will always pay dividence and I want to make sure it continues and becomes great success and bigger and bigger going forward as well
The Odissi Concert was absolutely amazing. It's bringing the culture back in UK, the multicultural country where everyone is seen as equal. This made me feel as if I was in India, I was mesmerised with the level of depth in telling the story with their dance and expression, I absolutely adored it. I would definitely look forward to attend their next concert.
Gairika is a truly inspirational dancer and teacher. Her dedication to Odissi dance is contagious! My daughter and I joined together and we have found our new passion! Gairika is an extremely motivating teacher and the community of dancers are an amazing team!
